Coffee is bad for blood pressure
This is FALSE! Coffee is excellent when consumed in moderation. Chemicals in coffee distend blood vessels, making your blood pressure levels drop slightly. This is great for hypertensive people but bad for hypotensive people. Drink it in moderation.

Coffee can make you lose weight
This is TRUE! But in moderation. Coffee is a metabolic accelerant, which means that you can increase the speed at which you burn calories. But beware, more than your typical take on coffee is dangerous; it can lower your metabolic rate.
Coffee can make you smaller
This is FALSE! There's a dubious belief that if you drink coffee while growing up, you'll stay short. That's a strange myth, and while coffee is not recommended to small child and adolescents, it's more for the over stimuli than for any relation with shortness.

Coffee helps you lower your cholesterol
This is TRUE! Coffee contains cafestol, and this compound is a powerful ally of good cholesterol. This compound, however, it’s one of the least visually appealing in the cups: it gives it that oily sheen on top of your cup. So, if your cup contains it, you’re having cafestol and all its benefits.

Coffee is bad for migraines
This is FALSE! Au contraire, my friend. Coffee or more likely caffeine is found in the best medications for headaches. Remember we mentioned distended blood vessels? Well, migraine is caused by compressed brain blood vessels, and when caffeine kicks in, it helps the calming medication reach the right places. Caffeine is as good as sugar to relieve migraines. So, drink a small bit of sweetened coffee with your migraine medication to kick it off the right way.
